Would you like to use Focusmate on your mobile device more easily? We don't currently have an app but you can create an app-like experience by adding Focusmate to your Homescreen.
How to Add Focusmate to your Homescreen ( Android )
Step One: Go to Focusmate.com on your mobile device via Chrome and click Add to Homescreen
This will allow Focusmate to work more like an app showing up on your Homescreen.
Step Two: Launch a Test Session
To make sure your audio and video are working correctly, we recommend Launching a Test Session before your first session. You can launch by rotating your device horizontally to see the Launch a Test Session link at the top right.
Step Three: You are ready for your first mobile session.
When it's time for your session, go to your Homescreen and click the Focusmate icon and in the left menu, you'll see a list of your upcoming sessions. Click the play button on your session to join it.
(Note: Your session play button won't activate until 10 minutes before your session, if for some reason this isn't activated check your time zone in the Dashboard > Profile > Settings area. )
How to Add Focusmate to your Homescreen ( iOS )
Step One: Go to Focusmate.com on your mobile device via Safari on your iPhone or iPad and click the share icon at the top, then choose the Add to Homescreen button.
You may want to rename this Homescreen shortcut to just "Focusmate" so it's easy to find on the Homescreen after. Now you'll be able to have Focusmate work more like an app showing up on your Homescreen.
