Note: we're aware of certain browser issues affecting the reliability of desktop notifications. We hope to address these soon.

To alert you that a session is coming up, Focusmate can play a tone and display a banner on your desktop before the start of the session.

You can configure this reminder in Settings, under the Notifications tab.

You can turn the feature on/off with the checkbox at the right. After you update a setting, make sure to save your changes by clicking the "Save notifications" button at the bottom of the page.

Please note: Currently this feature only works if you have the Focusmate Calendar open in a browser tab. It's also not yet supported on mobile devices. We are working to remove these limitations!
